2026 Tackle Football Season

Registration for the 2026 season has closed.

Who can play?

The teams will be mostly made up of kids who attend Millard North feeder schools, and who intend to attend Millard North High School.

Teams & Coaches

Each grade level will have a varsity football coach working with it during the season to assist with the development of the fundamentals and teaching of the schemes. Teams will play in the MYFL (Metro Youth Football League) and participate in either the Metro or Legacy division.

8th Grade (1 Metro level team)

Season Dates

Practices will begin August 3rd. Coaches will determine practice nights and times. Practices are generally held at Millard North Schools. Typically teams will practice 3-4 days a week with games played on Sundays.

Regular season games begin Sunday, August 30. Championship weekend runs through the end of October.

The official schedule will be released at a later date.

Fees

$499 until February 16, 2026
$550 from February 17 – April 30, 2026

What’s included?

  •  All Equipment: helmet, shoulder pads, practice/game pants, practice jersey
  • Jr. Mustangs Game Jersey
  • 3-4 practices per week at Millard North HS, Millard North Middle School or Kiewit Middle School
  • 8-9 games in the MYFL (Metro Youth Football League) and 1 jamboree scrimmage
  • 5 Mustang “Night on the Turf” skill development sessions featuring Millard North Head Coach Allen Burrell and varsity staff and players
  • Admission to the first home varsity home football game with pregame sideline access
  • 5 Sessions of Jr.Mustang Spring Passing Academy (Offensive Skills Camp and 7v7 Camp led by high school staff)
  • Offensive and Defensive Line Camp (5 sessions lead by high school football staff)
  • No additional fees and no gate admission fees are charged for MYFL games
